Prior to deploying the bird lasers, we experienced significant bird pressure from an estimated 15,000 starlings, along with a substantial seagull population, feeding throughout the yard during daylight hours. … We estimate the lasers have disrupted approximately 75% of bird feeding activity on our corn, representing an estimated annual feed savings of approximately $36,000. The lasers have been an effective, low-disruption method of reducing bird pressure and protecting feed.
